This Trust has been set up in Memory of Barry Connell, who tragically passed away in April of 2008 at the age of 28 due to Meningitis. Barry was destined for big things as a DJ! Having secured residences at not only one but two of the biggest clubbing brands around in Goodgreef and Inside Out! He also got to perform his Essential Mix live on Radio 1, just before he was tragically taken from us! I know i speak for everyone when i say he was an absolute gent and a great guy to know and is sadly missed! I will be running in the 'City to Surf' 21k half marathon here in Perth and i have decided to run in honour of Barry Connell and try raise some cash for the Meningitis Trust to help raise awareness of the disease that tragically took his life.
